You're paying for functional bag utility, not intricate craftsmanship. Reading the Neverfull or Speedy page gives you a good baseline for understanding tier differences and QC processes.
If you already own real luxury and want a rep to match: Read the Classic Flap or Marmont guide. These have more hardware detail (CC turn-lock, GG brass plaque) that shows tier differences visibly. Understanding the batch-check facts here will help you evaluate any tier claim from any seller.
